Cake Pops {that look like other food}

This isn’t the first time I’ve written about cake pops (and I highly doubt it will be the last), but I think this post is special.  Because it’s all about cake pops that look like other food.
I don’t know why the trend tickles me so.  Neither do I understand my almost fanatical devotion to Dolly Parton or why it seems I cannot live without feta – these are just things that are
So I set to work (with Dolly in the background and feta chilling in the fridge) to find just the right cake pops.  The ones that made me clap my hands together in fits of pure delight, causing anyone around me to wonder what pills I was on.
But it was worth it.  Oh so worth it.

Ice cream cone cake pops {I debated these, because they aren’t on sticks. Ultimately though, they were too cool not to include}

Have you ever made a funky cake pop?  I’ve love to hear about it!

  1. I love these!

  2. My toddler and I just made cake pops for the first time ever not long ago, and we had trouble keeping them on the stick, though it was fun and he loved it. I showed him this post and he got so excited naming the foods…”They maaaaaaade it like a doughnut!” Of course we’ll have to try this out…I’m thinking the carrot would be awesome to make with Easter coming up. Thanks for the cool share.

  3. Yum! YUM! they all look so fun! Carrots never looked more appetizing…lol

  4. Oh my gosh. Those donut cake pops are crazy adorable. Whaaaat? I can’t even make circle cake pops! Jealous.

  5. Those look even yummier knowing it’s all cake!
