I don’t think anyone has captured my feelings about Christmas as well as Norman Vincent Peale when he said “Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and behold, everything is softer and more beautiful.”
Take away the mad dashes to the store to buy presents and the endless baking and hours on the road trying to make it somewhere for the holidays and you’re left with peace, hope and beauty. They abound this very instant. And the most magical part of all is that they aren’t for the select few. They aren’t reserved for those who celebrate the “right” way.
Whatever you believe and however you celebrate, there’s something about this time of year that resonates in all of us.
So I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and hope you’re able to see all the magic and beauty that I do right now. It really is the best gift.**
**But I wouldn’t complain if I got an envelope full of cash either. Babies are expensive.

Merry Christmas, Trish! I hope it’s a special day for you!
Merry Christmas, sweets! That baby of your is absolutely adorable. Serious baby fever going on over here.
Ha ha, your addendum cracks me up. An envelope of cash should probably come tied to every baby’s foot!
