Week in Review 2013 {#3}

This morning I got my first real taste of bitter Minnesota winter weather.  The windchill was negative 32 degrees.  I tried to let the dog outside and he just looked at me like “bitch please”.  So I’m hiding in the house until further notice.  I’m a little worried about my peanut butter cup supply, but I think I’ll probably make it somehow.
I’ve got some hot chocolate and cake waiting for me in the other room, so let’s get this week in review started.
Monday
I was still sick so I stayed in bed all day.  Thankfully Ryan didn’t have to work so he got the pleasure of taking care of me and the baby.  Which was really like taking care of two babies.  Both of whom kept pooping their pants.  Yeah, I just went there.
Tuesday
Wyatt turned 2 months old!
Wednesday
I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching dog food after I found out what some companies put in theirs.  I’m not a total nut-job that thinks my dog should eat better than I do, but somehow feeding him ground up byproducts (like bones and whatnot from mystery animals) seems gross.  Dog Food Advisor is a great resource if you want to research what’s in your dog’s food.  And I’ll fall off my soapbox now.
Thursday
I ordered some alphabet stamps from Pick Your Plum.  I saw them and whipped my wallet out so fast I almost hurt myself.  And do you know what?  I have no idea what I’m going to do with them.  I don’t really do crafts.  Because I stink at them.  So if you see my baby with letters stamped on his face, you’ll know my creative juices didn’t get flowing quite as freely as they should have.
Friday
The good news is, I finally left the house.  The bad news is, it was to go to Walmart.
Saturday
We bought a new couch.  I’ve had my eye on a couch that cat fur can’t stick to for quite a while.  As an added bonus, this one reclines.  I can get my lazy on so much easier now.
Take that, cat fur.  Take that.
Sunday
Wyatt and I dropped Ryan off at the airport.  Then I got to drive around the Twin Cities for the first time by myself.  With a screaming baby in the back.  It was everything I dreamed it would be.
