Week in Review {#25}

Here are a few highlights from my week:

My uncle Mark was in town for business and stopped by for a visit.

I’m really glad he got to stop by and meet Wyatt and Ryan.  Plus it gave me an excellent reason to clean the toilet.

Wyatt is pretty much full-on crawling now.  It’s terrifying.  I ordered a baby gate so he doesn’t fall down the basement stairs or eat the dog food or drown in the water dish.  Until it gets here I have to keep locking him in the dog cage watching him like a hawk.  It’s exhausting.

We watched Red Dawn, which might not have been noteworthy except that movie is full of so much cheesy awesome that I had to mention it.  Just look at Patrick Swayze doing his best “Oh crap the Russians are blowing people up” face:

And our week would not have been complete without a sweaty visit to the park.  It was only about 75 degrees out when we ventured over there, but with the humidity the feel-like temperature was hovering around 90.  NINETY.  Go home Minnesota.  You’re drunk.

Wyatt had a pretty good time being forced to sit on things while we took his picture though.

I guess it was worth all the sweat that accumulated in my underboob area.

I hope you all had a great (mostly sweat-free week)!

    Boob sweat…nice! hahaha

    I live in eastern NC so I can fully relate to humidity. The air gets so thick here you can barely breath! And I know I say this every time..but ohmigosh….the fat rolls!!!! love.

Welcome!

Hey, I'm Trish (and that handsome dude next to me pretending he doesn't want his picture taken is Wyatt). Welcome to my blog! I'm a single, homeschool mom living the introvert life in Southern Michigan. If you're into Chinese food, Netflix, stretchy pants, and leaving the house the least amount possible, we can probably be friends.
