Earlier in the week during one of the brief reprieves the baby gives me (seriously, naps are like a foreign concept to this kid) I decided I was going to go outside and fiddle with Ryan’s camera instead of doing other stuff. Like dishes or laundry or brushing my teeth.
Aside from confirming my belief that I am just generally technologically challenged, I realized a couple of things. One, you can have fun even if things are difficult. And two, there’s pretty crap everywhere. Even in your semi-urban, overgrown backyard.
I left a peace offering to the POS squirrel that keeps eating my tomatoes.
I caught Dewey being cute. Lazy, but cute.
And I realized that even overgrown crap can be kind of pretty. Especially when it’s on the side of the garage no one looks at.
Have a wonderful Sunday you guys. I’m about to go get my pancake on. I’ll probably take a picture and put it on Instagram. You’re welcome.

That last shot is my favorite!!! Finding the beauty in every day, Trish! Yesss! (Also, I just re-read your About Me section on your sidebar while waiting for the pics to load, and I really do just love you and wanna be neighbors.)

These pictures are gorgeous! How wonderful that you were able to go enjoy outdoor beauty – even if it meant not brushing your teeth. 😉
