Week in Review 2014 {#6}

Week in Review

I’ve just resigned myself to the fact that this post will always be late. There’s nothing I can do about it (except manage my time better and/or stop being lazy, but those don’t count).

And since I’ve got this kid who’s all like “feed me, change me, clothe me, entertain me, make sure I don’t die” (seriously, who does he think he is?) I’m going with a mostly picture post again.

So this week we…

Struggled intensely with bedtime. My sweet baby just doesn’t like to go to sleep. He’s very busy and important, so I suppose it’s hard to wind down with all that pressure. But when he does fall asleep, he does it nearly naked.

Sleeping baby

Had our first toddler class. Wyatt took things very seriously.

Went to the Mall of America with my parents, where Wyatt found his first true love, the escalator.

Baby riding an escalator

And rode his first carousel

And had ice cream shoved into his face. Not that he was complaining.

And here’s one more, just because it’s so cute I can’t stand it.

Smiling baby

So tell me, how was your week?

Thank you for talking about this. The show has always bothered me a bit. It does, in my opinion seem a bit extreme. Our health should never be something that becomes a game. That’s just my thought. Visiting from #Sitsblogging.

I feel like my week has been lagging a bit so far. Glad your son liked toddler class but no wonder he was so serious about it – look at that professional tie he’s got on!

He is just the sweetest! You are blessed. Of course he’s the most important thing out. Why didn’t you know that? LOL My son did the same, he never wanted to wear clothes when he slept. Up to now, he goes to sleep with them on and wakes them up with them on the floor.

Waytt is too cute! Thanks for sharing your weekend with us. I have been dying to go to the Mall of America. Maybe one day…

My kids are 20 and 25, it has been a long time since they were little, but the memories do not fade. I LOVE the photo of the escalator. I like the angle that you used. You have a great eye. I look forward to coming back and seeing how he has grown. Visiting from SITS and I greatly enjoyed it!

Cute boy! Try using Lavender Essential Oils on him at bed time. You might find him sleeping better. I’ve tried it recently and I find that I sleep deeper and settle easier. There’s also Peace and Calming EO that might help him settle – my daughter uses it on her oldest son who is wired most of the time.

Really adorable photos of your children. My granddaughter is 16 months it is a challenge every time to get here to go to bed without putting her ‘fight.’ My week was a bit on the hectic side, but got most of the priority stuff out of the way.

    Blessings!
