Really, I should call it June took-a-photo-when-i-felt-like-it-because-i-was-busy-and-or-lazy.
But I’m in love with a few of the shots I got.
Here are my favorites:
Joy
And I sure did have one of those elephant ears. It was fried, buttery, and delicious.
Doing
Sitting at my mom’s kitchen table pondering life. Or eating pancakes. Either one.
Family
My grandma cuddling her great-grandson. Heart sufficiently melted.
Ordinary
A half-dead bush that still manages to bring some beauty into the world. I’ll try to remember that when I’m old and half-dead.
The beginning
You see, it could either be the start of a chicken, or an omelet.
Pastel
I’d like to say no Smarties were harmed in the making of this photograph, but I tripped and accidentally sent them flying over the side of the deck. I am…amazing.
What June looks like…
In Minnesota when it’s been raining and you don’t mow the grass for 3 weeks. I think Dewey likes his daily jungle adventures.
Delight
First popsicle. His technique was a little off, but he got the job done.
Do you participate in any photo-a-day challenges? I’d love to hear about them!

I can’t do daily challenges because I have commitment issues! Bwahaha!! Okay I need to come up with an Elephant Ear recipe because I want one like right now and the fairs are gone! Boo. That egg would be my breakfast! 😉

Beautiful photography!! I love all of your photos. The one with grandma snuggling your son made me smile. So sweet! I’m not sure what an elephant ear is, but if it is fried and buttery then it sounds good to me. hahaha!

Oh you make me laugh…I could totally see myself crashing into a pile of smarties. Love the popsicle picture – he is ALL IN on the project of enjoying that sweet treat! Question: doesn’t summer + rain + Minnesota = a bazillion mosquitoes?

These are great pictures, but honestly, I can’t get past the fact that you wasted Smarties! How could you!?!?! I am just devastated over the waste!! 🙂
